tlv3502 ,PARAMETER: tR、 tF ，why not have MAX value

My customer wants to use the IC TLV3502 in his project，and now he is reading the manual "tlv3502.pdf" which links to
www.ti.com/.../tlv3502.pdf.

He want to ask a question about the two parameters Tr (time Fall) and Tf (time Rise) in chapter"6.7 Switching Characteristicson" on the sixth page of the manual:
, why the two parameters only have TYP values, but have not the MAX values? The customer think that the MAX values are also very important to them.

    Hi Henry,

    It is not unusual for ac and timing specifications to be specified as "typical" and not include minimum, or maximum, limits. High speed timing tests are not easily accomplished in a production test environment, and if they are the tests are expensive to perform raising the cost of the product.

    The typical values are based off measurements performed during a product's characterization phase and usually involves several wafer lots. There will be some normal distribution of the TLV3502 tr and tf times across the material. The operating current limits help bound just how fast, or slow, something like tr and tf will be. As an estimate I use +/-50 % for timing parameters such as tr and tf and find that to be conservative. Usually the variance is less.
