OPA188 open loop gain

Other Parts Discussed in Thread: OPA188

Hello,

Our customer use the OPA188, have a question.

In the test condition of the open-loop voltage gain, RL=10kohm.

The customer using RL as less than 10kohm.

The customer using high gain too.

Do you have the data of the Open-loop voltage gain vs RL?

Best Regards,

Naoki Aoyama

  • Hello,

The OPA188 datasheet includes dc Aol specifications for both 10k and 5k loads.  These measurements can be used to determine the dc value for the OPA188 open-loop output impedance, which can then be used to back-calculate the expected dc Aol for other resistive load values.  I've copied an image of a math file that shows the calculations for the dc open-loop output impedance (Zo/Ro) and an example calculation for the expected Aol for a 499Ohm load.

  • Hello,

    Thank you for your reply.
I missed the test condition of RL=5kohm on the datasheet.
    I will calculate the Aol.

    Thanks,
