Hi,
I was wondering if anyone knows or runs into some limitations with these TLC2264AID: http://focus.ti.com/docs/prod/folders/print/tlc2264a.html
some questions:
- What’s the difference between these date codes (above marking “2264AI”): 71CK8TM and 17CH1HT? the markings and (D or SOIC-14) package colors look different: “71CK8TM” looks very clean and sharp and seems to work fine; but “17CH1HT” looks brown and smudgy and gives us some problems. Are there design or process differences on the die? What about fab and packager differences?
- Is there any production test data (QA or sample tests or FAR data) for the above, relating to the outputs and/or relating to operating to max supply voltage?
- What is the output drive capability? Output impdedance spec limits (dynamic and static)? Current limits? What’s the max load? On the datasheet I see that there's a typical 220 or 240 ohms output impedance for a gain of 10 at 100kHz, as well as the typical impedance vs. frequency plots (Figs 30 & 31). Please note that in our application we have a 2k ohm load, with a closed loop gain of 160, at a low frequency nearly DC, and the opamp is on a single +15V supply. Can above parts drive that load?
So far I have been able to decipher the data code format according to the below:
“MYLLLLS” tells me that one part was made in Jan 2007 and the suspected problem part made in July 2001. http://focus.ti.com/general/docs/topsidemarkingformats.tsp?actionPerformed=listPkgTopSideFormats&pkg=SOIC
what does the the last digit “S” or site refer to, having value of M or T? is it M for Malaysia, and T for Taiwan?
Thanks for your help!
