The datasheet for the XTR115/XTR116 devices explicitly states that those devices are "COMPATIBLE WITH HART MODEM". Is the XTR117 device also HART modem compatible?

Hello Brian,
The XTR117 is essentially the same device as the XTR115 and XTR116 without the on-board voltage reference. The functionality of the device beyond this falls in line with the XTR115/6. These devices do not have chopping output stages so they do not require the filtering required in our three-wire current transmitters. Therefore, they are able to interface with HART modems while meeting the requirements of the HART protocol. The following post contains an attachment with a couple of slides showing a possible interface containing an XTR115 with a HART modem. This circuit utilizes the VREF of the XTR115 so it would have to be modified in order to accommodate the XTR117.
