Seeking recommendation for a comparator

Hi team,

Do we have a comparator that meets the following specs:

  • Low current: uA range
  • Single supply:  3V to 6V
  • Internal reference
  • Sot23 package or similar
  • Auto qual’d
  • hysteresis on the input

Thank you,

Jared

  • Hi Jared,

There is a comparator product that meets all but the last of the requirements, the TLV3012A-Q1. I copied some information from its datasheet:

    • Push-pull output
    • Input Common-Mode Range 200 mV beyond supply rails
    • Voltage reference, 1.242 V, initial Accuracy 1%, 100-ppm/°C (max) drift
    • Quiescent current, 5-μA (max)
    • Supply range 1.8 V to 5.5 V.
    • Available in the SC-70 package.
    • Fast Response Time, 6-μs Propagation Delay, 100-mV Overdrive
    • Temperature range -40°C to 125°C
    • Qualified for Automotive Applications

The TLV3012A-Q1 does not have internal hysteresis, but most often it is added externally to a comparator circuit by adding two resistors.

Note that this device is handled by TI's MSA Products group. They provide marketing and applications support for the product.
