OPA140 datasheet error

Other Parts Discussed in Thread: OPA140

Hi,

The OPA140 datasheet has an error in specifications table. Input voltage noise (0.1Hz to 10Hz) is listed at 250uVpp and 42uVrms. Graphs and other places lists it at a much better 250nVpp. Noise density calculations would then match also.

I sent this earlier to TI support but got back the answer:

"Thank you for contacting TI Support. This issue will need to be addressed by the factory engineers that directly support the data sheet. You can contact them at the link below using your TI account login"

I would have thought that TI's internal departments talked to each other...

Regards,
Dan

  • Hi Dan,

Thanks for bringing this to our attention via the E2E. Doing so brings the issue directly to us who support the OPA140 from within TI.

I am going to direct your OPA140 noise specification issue to our Marketing Engineering group for the high-voltage op amp products. They are the group that submits datasheet changes and decides the urgency on which it is acted upon.

Again, thanks for bringing this to our attention.

    Regards, Thomas
