LMC6082AI max bias current at 25 degC

Hi, floks

Could you tell me a max IIB value for LMC6082AI at 25 degC?

The top of product page saids that it is 0.1pA, but I can not find it at data sheet.

Is this 0.1pA is correct or not?

  • Hello Keiichi,

I do not see the 0.1pA that you mention.

The typical is 10fA, and the over temp max is 4pA.. The room max is not specified.

Since CMOS bias current doubles every 10°C, we could approximate the room temp max using the temp max number.

Since the max temp is 85°C, 85C-25C is a 60 degree span. So the 4pA becomes 62.5fA.

0.063pA is a little tight, and does not take into account small restive package leakages, so 0.1pA would be about right.

I have not seen these devices with currents higher than the mid 20fA range at room temp, so 100fA should be sufficient.

Again, this is not a guarantee, only an approximation for engineering guidance. The 4pA is the specified condition.

    Regards,

  • Hello Paul

Thank you for your practical answer. It is very useful one.

I agree with you it is just a engineering quidance, but It will greatly help us to set spec compliance matrix.

    I see 0.1pA as follows at http://www.ti.com/product/LMC6082/description

I think you can see IIB (Max) (pA).
