INA214 reverse polarity question

Other Parts Discussed in Thread: INA214

We have a questionregarding  the effects of reverse polarity on the INA214 chip?

Its datasheet seems to imply it to be tolerant to a +-26 volt input but the part is failing under bench test.

Is there an app notye for this device that addresses this or can I get an email address or phone# for the appropriate FAE contact?

  • Hi Chris,

You are right about the input differential voltage which is +-26V. However the common mode voltage is GND to 26V. Maybe this condition is not respected?

Can you send us the schematic of what you are doing on the bench with the voltages in the different points?

I cannot give you any FAE contact but we are happy to help you here on the forum.

    Best regards,

    Aymeric Nicolas
