VGA with gain error close to 2.5%?

Hi,

Would anybody be able to recommend a variable gain amplifier that has a maximum gain error less than or equal to 0.21dB (close to 2.5%)? The amp would need to have:

  • a gain range of at least 24dB
  • a bandwidth of at least 30MHz
  • less than 0.5W of quiescent power (power supplies can vary)
  • a differential gain error less than or equal to 0.25%
  • a differential phase error less than or equal to 0.25 degrees
  • an operating temperature of at least -40C to 85C
  • be able to input and output a +/- 1V signal

I've looked around TI's parts and parts from other manufacturers, but I have yet to find one that satisfies these specifications. I've found several that satisfy all but the gain error specification. Do manufacturers actually make variable gain amplifiers with a gain accuracy less than 3%? After searching, it doesn't seem like anything is available, but it's possible there could be one I missed.

Thanks
