INA300 Limit connected incorrectly

Other Parts Discussed in Thread: INA300

I'm using the TIDA-0079 reference design. This design calls for INA300. What happens if the Limit pin of each IC is connected together and that connection is connected to a resistor and resistance is connected to ground. Will either of the ICs be damaged? Also INA300 does not have analog Vout that relates to the current across the sense resistor. Is it possible to hook up a third current sense IC (with Vout functionality) across the sense resistor to keep track of the load current?
