On-line manual for the module shows output resistor R6 = 453 ohms. Board I received has R6 = 100 ohms. Either board is stuffed wrong or documentation is incorrect. Which is it?

Hello Herb,

Did you measure the resistor with an Ohm meter? Can you send a hi res photo of the resistor?

Sometimes resistors come with markings that are completely irrelevant to their value.

The THS4271 datasheet shows that the default load is 500 Ohms, so if there is a 100 Ohm resistor on the EVM it is a mistake.

The resistor is marked 1000. Yes, I measured it. It is 100 ohms. The users guide shows it to be 453 ohms, so you get a 10:1 attenuation against the 50 ohm load. I have a hi-res photo, but I don't see a way of attaching it here, so if you tell me where to send it I'll happily do that.

This is in error. I will check with the assembly house to see if there is any change in documentation/procedure that we are unaware of and let you know.

We pulled the stock from the inventory and verified that the resistors are 453 ohm. Looks like some glitch on your board. Thanks for bringing this to our attention.
