TLE2082 Vcc Options

I have a TLE2082CP, and my power supply is +24 volts DC. I see on the data sheet this works off +/- 5 VDC and/or +/-15 VDC. So is that +15 VDC on the Vcc+ and -15 on the Vcc-? If so thast voltage drop across the two is 30 VDC. So could I power this op amp with +24 VDC on Vcc+ and 0 VDC (command/ground) on the Vcc-? Or do I need to go through a voltage divider to get +15 VDC for the Vcc+ pin?

    Hi Brian,

    Yes, the TLE2082C can be used with a single +30, +24, or +15 V supply. Just be aware the input common-mode range (Vicr) and output voltage swing ranges (Vom+, Vom-) will shift from the dual-supply case. For example, the +/-15 V Vicr range is approximately -11 v to +15 V, or +4 V up from the -15 V supply rail on the negative end and to the +15 V supply rail on the positive end. Thus, the approximate Vicr range with a +24 V supply would be about + 4V on the low end and +24 V on the high end. A similar relationship would be had for Vom+ and Vom- for the single-supply condition. Note that the datasheet doesn't make any assurances about specifications with the single supply so the parametric results may be a bit different than those had with the dual supplies.
