Hi Team,
 
I believe negative voltage can be supplied to input pin of LM358-N under dual supply like V+=15V and V-=-15V.
However the following ABS max shows negative input voltage shouldn't be supplied..
Does it show with respect to V- pin?

    Hello Yaita,

    The datasheet is written for a single supply (V+ and GND, or 0V and +30V). The datasheet calls what would be the V- pin "GND".

    Yes, the LM358 can be used in a split supply application (±16V).

    However, the input pins CANNOT be taken below the GND PIN (or V-) by more than -0.3V.

    So with a split supply of +15 and -15, the input cannot go below -15.3V.
