INA159

Other Parts Discussed in Thread: INA159

Does the maximum supply voltage of 5.5 Volts refer to the difference between the V+ and V- pins?  I was planning to use V+ = 3.3 and V- = -1.5.

Thanks.

  • Hello Wayne,

The maximum supply voltage is the difference between the supply pins. So, +3.3V and -1.5V is acceptable. Please note that this affects some specifications such as common-mode input range and output swing.
  • Thanks Pete.
My input is 0 to 10 Volts. and i need a little room at the top and bottom. Im feeding an ADC with Ain+ = INA159 output and Ain- = 1.25V (INA159 Vref in 1/2 ref configuration.

    Thanks,
    Wayne
