Hello ,

I would like to design a circuit, which should generate 1.5 secs pulse once falling edge trigger happens. I would like to do this with lmc555. The trigger input some times low for more than output pulse width. irrespective of trigger pulse width, output should be 1.5 secs ( Non trigger-able Operation). 

Any other solutions are welcome ( except with multi vibrator ICs).

    Rama,

    Because the device owner didn't  answer, I will do it.

    This will work with all 555 device variants if the input signal level amplitude is same or close to 555 VCC voltage.

    Falling edge triggers 555 timer. If input still low after time out then no retrigger.

    If input goes high and low again during timer run then timer time not restarted.
