Op-amp Suggestion

I have a square wave signal 500KHz~10MHz frequency range and 0-5Vp-p. I need to convert this signal to -5V to +5V without change in signal frequency and form. My thought is to use a wide bandwidth op-amp in differential mode to DC shift and amplify the signal. Is this the right approach? Any suggestions on the op-amp to use?

Hello Anbu,

Your approach is valid, but there may be other methods possible.

Can you tolerate the slew rate limitation of an op-amp?

What power supply voltages do you have available?

High band-width opamp with good slew rate should work for my requirement, rite? I found an OPA653 op-amp with high bandwidth and slew rate, i feel this will work fine. Any other op-amp some one used previously?

About the power supply, I have 12V supply and I am using a DC-DC converter to generate the negative voltage.

The OPA653 has a limited power supply range.

Have you looked at the THS4631?

It will work with +/-12V.
