INA321: Shutdown Pin and reference pin

Hey,

I would like to what connections should be made for shutdown and reference pin

  • To absolutely guarantee that INA321 will operate in a normal mode, Vsd>2.5V.  Likewise, to assure that INA321 is in a shutdown mode, Vsd<0.8V - see graph below.

    Reference pin determines the reference voltage the output voltage is measured with respect to; if you wish the output to me measured with respect to ground or mid-supply, you need to drive the reference pin to appropriate voltage. Please be aware that the output may not swing all the way to either rail thus connecting the reference pin to ground while using single supply will cause output voltage non-linearity for small differential input voltage - see the graph and datasheet table below.
