Hello,

Many INA current sensing amps including INA193A have "Input current into any pin" specification at some milliamps, say 5mA.

However, I cannot imagine any practical situation that causes 5mA to flow into any pin, while other voltage ratings are followed.

Is there any example of such a situation for INA193A?

    Hi Masatoshi,

    During normal operations you should not see 5 mA in any pin, you are correct. On the INA193 if you need to exceed the absolute max voltages (for some reason, not recommended) then you should assure you limit the input currents to 5mA.
