OPA4684: OPA4684:

Part Number: OPA4684

1、question 1:

What  is the  meaning of the  parameter (   bw@acl )   of  high speed amplifier  ?

1    运放的参数  bw@acl   什么意思?

2、question2:

The input signal  is  40MHz square wave,  with an amplitude of  3V(LVCMOS),generated from an FPGA 。

Requirement:

transform the signal into sine wave(differential form), and deliver it to a remote distance(100m) with CAT5 cable。

What type of amplifiers is applicable? please recommend one or more TI's part .  give me a reference design?

  • Hello,
BW @ Acl stands for Closed Loop Bandwidth at a particular gain. This term will give you the amplifiers gain bandwidth product (GBP). So for example if a voltage feedback amplifier has a bandwidth of 100 MHz in a gain of 10V/V(20dB), its gain bandwidth product is 1 GHz. Note that the GBP is only applicable for a voltage feedback amplifier. Most line drivers, like the OPA4684 are current feedback amplifiers. A current feedback amps bandwidth depends primarily on its feedback resistance and a 2nd order effect is dependent on the amplifiers gain.

What is the frequency of the sine wave you are converting to?
