AMC1100: Experiencing Non Repeat-ability in AMC1100

Can you provide more detail on the non-repeatability of the AMC1100? Is it a difference in output voltages based on specific input voltage levels? The schematic you provided shows that three of five resistors in the string are DNP, is that correct? Also, how is GND1 tied relative to -300VCC?

Hello Sir,

Yes , for a specific input voltage we have different output voltage ,it is probed at different time intervals.

 

Should not be a DNP . We are maintaining a voltage of <250mV across the input pins.

Thank you for the feedback. Please let us know how GND1 is referred to -300VCC.

The pins 1 & 4 is high side isolated power supply , We are providing an isolated 5V DC supply across these pins.

 

Pins 2 & 3 is the differential input for the IC , Across which the input no greater that 250mV is applied.

 

+300V DC and -300V DC is the DC bus supply which is to be measured.

 

pins 5 and 8 are the supply pins for the lower side and is in common ground with the micro controller

Hi Arvind,

Take a look at Figure 33 in the AMC1100 datasheet. You'll notice two series resistors and a capacitor at the VINN and VINP nodes and you can also see how VINN is tied back to GND1. You may have noise coupling into the inputs or there may be a shift in the input common mode voltage that is causing your errors.
