DAC3484: DC coupled OP AMP choice

I am looking to use a DAC3484 with either an LMH6702 or LMH6554.The LMH6554 has much better specifications, but it will be used single ended which will degrade the quality. My question is will I still be better off using the LMH6554 over an LMH6702 with this DAC?

Hi Oliver,

I would recommend using the LMH6702 over the LMH6554 for single-ended output only. I think the LMH6654 HD2 will degrade the signal quality while using it in only single-ended output case.

Hello Oliver, The THS3217 is another potential option. This device was built specifically as line driver for current output DACs. There is also a reference design for an Arbitrary Waveform Generator using the DAC38J84, THS3217 and THS3091. A link to the design is below. You may find this useful in your design process.
