INA226-Q1: Case of A0/1-pin to be opened

Part Number: INA226-Q1

Hi,

My customer is using INA226-Q1.
He has a question about A0/1-pin.

In case of A0/1-pin to be opened, How does this device operate?

Best reagrds,
Shimizu

  • Hi Masahiko,

The A0 and A1 pins are device address pins. If any of these two pins are opened the device will lose communication. The device samples the state of pins A0 and A1 on every bus communication. The pins should be connected to VS, GND, SCL or SDA. You can find more information on Page 18 of the datasheet.
