Hi,

Could you tell me about LSB calculation?
The following contents are described in the data sheet.

I understood about 457.78uA.
However, I do not know the idea of 1mA.
I cannot understand what that means.
Let me know the details.
For example,In case of 5A, does this value change?

Hi Yusuke,

The minimum current LSB is calculated using Equation 2 of the datasheet. It is common to select a current LSB to be a round number near the minimum current LSB value for simplify calculation,that is why 1mA/bit was selected in the datasheet example. I would like to confirm just in case,
Can I actually use 457.78 uA?
Customer is trying to use Current LSB=457.78 .

Hi Tsukui,

You need to use a rounded number, otherwise you will be out of resolution range. Customer can use 460uA/bit if they desire.
