INA210: Confirm correct sensor specification for wave power application

Part Number: INA210

Hello!

I'm dealing with a wave power generator with 6 motors that need current monitored to determine power generated.

Our maximum expected voltage per motor seems to be about 2V, maximum current around 0.5A- but we're looking for good resolution as close to 0A as possible.

And, given that the motors actuate based on wave motion, the signal is very dynamic with low frequency.

Hall sensors were not suitable for such low currents, and I have little to no experience with current sense amplifiers.

Is the INA210 a good fit for this application?

It seems as if a 100mOhm resistor would do the trick to get good results for low currents. Any advice is appreciated!
