Other Parts Discussed in Thread: INA226
I am using INA226 EVM revA. I followed the user guide and have done the following -
My intention is to measure the current on a shunt resistor that is on the high side. I have done the following -
0. connected the USB cable b/w host PC & EVM
1. VBUS pin --> 19V
2. VIN+ pin --> 19V
3. VIN- pin --> other side of the shunt resistor
4. GND pin --> Return ground of the load
5. USB is connected b/w host PC and EVM
For some reason, EVM s/w is giving me an overvoltage alert on VBUS. It seems to think that VBUS is 81V. So I disconnected all the pins (floating), connected USB b/w PC and EVM and launched the s/w again. I am still getting the same error. The graph in the software also shows VBUS at 81V. Please advise.
