    The INA226 is intended for the measurement of DC units. For a AC Mains power monitor, capable of simultaneously measure current and voltage, no.

    For applications where the mains voltage is rectified, such as a switch mode power supply or a motor drive, it could be used for measurements after the rectifier. This application note shows some design changes, allowing the device to operate at higher than VCC supply voltages.
