AFE031: About AFE031 DC solution check

Dear,

In my application,I want to add a monitor function in my Solar panel to test the current/voltage and temperature. I want to use the PLC to communicate. I have found AFE031 reference desgin in TI web, but it is AC solution. 

So my question, If AFE031 can use in DC model? My Solar panel is about 80V, and if I have some succeed case for this application? Great thx.

    It is possible communicate on a DC power line. Bear in mind that you will need to have inductors in series on the line to provides enough impedance to the power-line-communication signal, such that the power supply, which can have a very low impedance, does not interfere with the PLC-signal modulation. There are 2 links below to documents that are helpful for communicating through a DC power line. The first is a reference design and the second is a test report of the reference design.
