LMH6552: High Linearity ADC driver

Part Number: LMH6552
Other Parts Discussed in Thread: THS4511, , THS4503, THS4509

Hello

I want to build an high linearity data acquisition with a 14-Bit 65MSPS ADC.

the signal source is within 0.5Vpp and 10KHz to 10MHz with a 50 Ohm coxial cable.

  • but I want to drive it with a FDA such as LMH6552 or THS4503 or THS4509 or THS4511? which one is better for my setup? or do you have a better suggestion?
  • can I connect the outpout of the coaxial cable to the input of the ADC driver directly?

Regards

  • Hi,

    1. It is possible to use either of the FDAs that you have suggested for driving the 14-bit 65MSPS ADC. I would select the one that has the better Noise Figure out of the FDAs for your application.
    2. It should be possible to connect the coxial cable output directly to the input of the ADC driver.

    Best Regards,
    Rohit
