INA826: INA826 REF PIN

Part Number: INA826

Hello ,

This is Paresh Valand from Teq Diligent.

We have used following circuit to provide ref input to INA826 to provide offset to Analog Input.  (We have design this circuit with ref to circuit given in datasheet of INA826 Page no - 23)

Output of OP2177 is connected to REF PIN of INA826 (Pin no - 6 )  --- we have used 8 number of INA826 in our circuit.

We have measured this output of OP2177 on oscilloscope it is showing DC output before it is connected to INA826 REF PIN.

After connecting this output to ref pin of INA826 It is showing pulsating DC on supply whatever we have generated on output of OP2177. It is around 160mV pulsating DC on generated Voltage.

I want to understand the INA826 may create issue in generated ref voltage ?

Kindly suggest.

  • Hi Paresh,

I will need some more information to be able to assist you. Could you please include the oscilloscope capture you have referenced with channel labels? If you could include the schematic with the INA826 this would also be helpful. In addition, could you please include the value of your input and output voltages for each circuit?

A quick note, when you are using multi-device packages it is good practice to put unused channels in a stable configuration, such as a buffer with the input grounded. It may not make a difference but it just ensures that the response of the unused channel doesn't impact your performance.

    Regards,
