In 4 to 20mA application can we run the XTR111 using power supply 12V Dc. Please share the ref-design

Hi Sankar,

Yes, the XTR111 will perform to datasheet specs for supply voltages between 8V to 40V. We do not have a reference design for the XTR111, but we do have an evaluation module that can be found here: www.ti.com/.../xtr111-2evm.

This module is not intended to be dropped into an industrial application as is, but it should serve as a good starting point to understand the basic connections.

We have used the reference design is on data sheet its working fine from(0 to 20mA) in 24V. If we give 12V supply the output is (0 to 10mA), what will the problem please help

It sounds like you are running into compliance voltage issues, meaning you are attempting to drop more voltage in your loop than you are supplying.
