Hello,

Is there an XTR device with a 0.5-4.5V ratiometric output. This circuit will have to take a 5V reference from some external source (provided by the customer) and create a 0.5-4.5V output that scales up and down with the 5V reference.

Hi Keith,

I'm not clear on what it is you are looking for. XTRs are used for 4-20mA current loops. Most of them incorporate an integrated reference (voltage or current depending on the intended application) and some of them include a fixed regulator (5 or 5.1V). The XTR111 is the only device that provides an adjustable regulator but it is sourced from an internal reference. If you are just looking to buffer a voltage divider, the XTR108 includes an unused op amp. If you are looking for a programmable output you may consider using a multiplying DAC.
