INA300: Hysteresis behavior at low signal levels

Hi Team,

I am currently working with a customer interested in using the INA300, and is wondering what the hysteresis behavior will look like at low signal levels.

For instance, if Vlimit is set to 3mV with a 4mV hysteresis setting, can the device be expected to reliably set/reset the output in the absence of noise? Alongside that, is there a best practice for minimum signal levels and settings?

    After speaking wth my colleague we don't think setting Vlimit to 3mV and hysteresis to 4mV would be a good idea since this would force Vsense to go to -1mV for the output to reset. See datasheet figure below. This is really a unidirectional part and the datasheet specifies the sense voltage range from 0 to 250mV, so this would be out of spec operation. Why not set hysteresis to 2mV?
