OPA567: Exposed pad connection

Can I connect the exposed pad to GND?

    Hello Simon,

    The 2nd paragraph on Pg. 18 of the OPA567 datasheet states, "The thermal pad must be soldered to the PCB. The thermal pad should either be left floating or connected to V–."

    If you are using a single supply and the return voltage is GND, then you are complying with the datasheet requirement. If you are using a dual supply (+/-V), then connect it to V-. Even though the datasheet allows floating the thermal pad connecting it to V- prevents any secondary conerns that might occur.
