OPA170: OPA170AIDRLT output stablisation

Hi Siddharth,

What circuit configuration are you using the OPA170 in? Depending on your application, you may be able to use an isolation resistor on the output of your circuit which will help you drive the larger cap load. Take a look at TI Precision Labs 10.5, which discusses this in detail.

Hi All, OPA170 when driven in unity gain configuration , how much is the capacitance that it can drive without generating oscillations. I see in the datatsheet that its stable with low capacitance of 300p

yes that is fine but as i mentioned the application in this case requires driving 110n capacitive load so what is the compensation technique suitable / recommended for such scenarios?

As mentioned in my earlier response, R_iso compensation is the first thing we would try in this type of scenario. There are other techniques such as Riso with Dual Feedback.
