Hi,

Will the laser drivers used in this reference design function if driven with a 480Mb/s signal?

    Hi Rich,

    The laser driver used in this ref design, the ONET1151L will certainly work with a 480 Mbps signal. However, please note that the electrical specifications given in the Datasheet are not guaranteed at < 1 Gbps datarates, so you may expect slight degradation in the o/p performance at 480 Mbps.
