LMC660: Eagle CAD model

Part Number: LMC660

Dear Sir,

I want to make a PCB layout including the LMC660AIM op amp, using the Eagle CAD software. Do you happen to have an Eagle model for such op amp, please?

Furthermore, do you happen to have the Eagle models for other TI components?

Thank you very much in advance.

Best regards,

Fernando A. Marengo Rodriguez, Dr. Eng.

  • Hi Fernando,

The information you would need to create the footprint in any PCB program, including Eagle, is provided at the end of the datasheets for our devices. In newer devices, we provide example land patterns but you should able to create the footprint you need from the package dimensions provided in the datasheet.

Here is the package info: www.ti.com/.../mpds177g.pdf

As a general rule, TI doesn't provide PCB program footprints because of the wide variety of programs available.

Sorry I can't be of more assistance.

See my latest reply for the source of footprint information.

  • Hi Paul,
Thank you very much for your kind answer. I understand, there are a lot of available CAD softwares.
I've recently heard of a collaboration between TI and Element14 for making the footprint of some popular components, but I haven't found such information yet.
One last question: Is the LMC660 pin-by-pin equivalent to some other more popular op amp? If so, there is an easier way to solve this issue.
    Best regards,
    Fernando
  • Hi Fernando,

A colleague told me about something that TI does offer and I think it will solve your issue. My apologies for not getting this right the first time.

Here is the main place you should start:
    https://webench.ti.com/cad/

Footprints and symbols are available through the Ultra Librarian BXL link at the bottom of the Quality and Packaging tab of the product folder:
    www.ti.com/.../pinout-quality

I hope that helps, let me know if there is something else you need.

    Best,
    Paul
