Is the maximum current provided by the power supply is 60mA?

Is this current related to the size of the supply voltage?

Hi Meng,

this is the maximum current which can flow if you short circuit the output to ground. The short circuit current is internally limited to this value.

Source current is largely independent of VCC voltage and decreases with high temperature.

Sink current is less regulated and is more likely to do permanent damage. This is mentioned in section 6.1 of data sheet.

The device sets the current, like Kai said.
