INA302: Current sensing by using INA302 in motor control

Part Number: INA302

Hello

I am going to use INA302 in my motor control application. It has ALERT and LATCH  pins which I don't  won't to use in my application. can I put them without any connection on my board.

  • Hello Onkar,

If you won't use ALERT or LATCH then why not use a device without the internal comparators? I ask out of curiousity. Connecting the LATCH pins is only needed to set the output mode of the ALERT pins. So if you are only concerned with the analog OUT pin readings, then you can float ALERT and LATCH pins.

    Sincerely,

  • I am going to use this sensor because it's specifications  will support my application. As my application higher frequency I needed sensor with better slew rate.It has best slew among TI's bidirectional current sensors. Thanks for resolving my issue
