Hi,

Can you please provide the schedule when the extended temperature range version of the INA188 will be released? Do you have a preliminary data sheet showing the specifications over the -55 to +125C temperature range? Will the EP part be offered in the SOIC-8 and SON (DFN-8) packages? Do you have the full part numbers of the INA188-EP parts?

Our application requires -55 to 125C operation. Our power supplies are +/- 15V. Do you have any other instrumentation or difference amplifiers in development that will have specification performance data over the -55 to 125C range that have similar performance to the INA188? The gain error at G =1 needs to be less than or equal to 0.05% at 25C with a temperature drift error on the order of 5 ppm/C.

Hi Jim,
I don't believe we have plans to make an EP version of the INA188. It looks like INA101 and INA129 are the lowest gain error parts we have that support the 36V supply range over the -55 to 125C temperature range.

Please see the posting for the INA828. Your comment regarding the release of the INA188-EP does not agree with your co-worker. Please let me know which posting is correct.

Hi Jim,
Asking around, there is no plan to do an EP version of INA188. There is a plan for a Q1 version of the device for automotive applications. Typically the Q1 versions share the same temperature range of the original device, which would be -40 - 125°C for the INA188. There shouldn't be any electrical specification changes on the INA188-Q1 versus the INA188.
