LMH7322: 1ch or 2ch High Speed Comparator

Hi team,

The customer is looking for high speed 1ch or 2ch comparator which is able to recognize 1ns pulse. From the tPD point of view, LMH7220 (2.9ns) for 1ch and LMH7322 (0.7ns) for 2ch seems to be the best candidates for the requirements but do you think those parts can support the 1ns signal? If no, do you have any other solutions?

the TINA-TI reference design says that the LMH7322 would be fast enough:

Hello Kai-san,

Thank you for your prompt feedback. Regarding 2ch comparator, I understand the LMH7322 can support 1ns pulse. Could you let me know also the 1ch comparator which can detect the 1ns pulse? LMH7220 doesn't meet the requirement of such a fast signal?

Hi Jun,

I cannot simulate the LMH7220 with TINA-TI. There's no model available. But from datasheet I can see that the LMH7220 is probably not fast enough.
