OPA365: Overload Recovery Time @ Negative Rail

Part Number: OPA365

Dear Team,

our customer would like to use the OPA365 and the design would overdrive the OpAmp at the negative rail on purpose.

Some Information:

  • Inverting circuit
  • Supply: +3.3V / -1.0V
  • Input signal: -0.1V ... +0.1V
  • Gain: 20

Questions:

1) The data sheet specs the value 'overload recovery time' for VIN x Gain > Vs. Does this also apply for the negative rail?

2) Are there any things we should keep in mind or test if we want the output to clip on purpose?

Thanks and best regards
Martin
