Hi,

Would it be possible to share the measured s-parameter data for the LMH3401 and LMH5401?

  • Hi Apurva,

    I have attached the measured S-parameter data for the LMH3401 and LMH5401 with differential input and output configuration (4-port). I would recommend you to start analyzing with the files only for frequencies >70MHz as the VNA dynamic range is very bad at lower frequencies less than 70MHz.

    Also, do you need the measured S-parameter data for the single-ended input to differential output as well?

    Thanks for uploading the S-parameters, I was looking for them too.

    Please could you provide more details on how are they obtained. I mean, are the S-parameters de-embedded at the component leads or do they include other components (i.e input and output Resistor)?

  • Hi Javier,

    The S-parameters are not de-embedded up to the component leads, and have been measured on the standard evaluation board for the respective LMH3401 and LMH5401 products. So, they do include the input and output series resistor of the evaluation board. Also, they are for the diff-to-diff configuration, and are matched for 50-ohm single-ended on each of the four ports.

    The different gain configurations for the LMH5401 are provided in the respective S-parameter files as Av = 2, 10 or 14V/V and their respective Rf values with 50-ohm single-ended source impedance.
