LM5170EVM-BIDIR : Converter(LM5170EVM-BIDIR) behavior questions.

Part Number: LM5170EVM-BIDIR
Other Parts Discussed in Thread: LM5170

Hi

I have read the LM5170EVM-BIDIR model user manual.

In the manual, there are pins to which voltage must be applied.

Is it appropriate to use the LS-FFPJ-6 line to apply voltage to the MCU (pins J17, J18, etc.)?

I do not know how to apply the voltage to these small pins.

Is there a line specifically sold by TI?

I would appreciate your reply.

  • Thank you for considering the LM5170. However, we do not sell cables. LS-FFPJ-6 looks okay. We use similar jumper wires but we made them in house. You can consider to use a matching female receptacle so you can group the wires without much mess. A quick way for you may be just soldering pigtails on to the pin positions on the back side of the PCB. Pay attention not to short the wires on the loose end.
