AMC1200 Output Common Mode

Hi Team,

In the datasheet of AMC1200, it specs the offset error is 1.5mV max. I am wondering how do you test the offset. Short VINP and VINN, then measure output?

in terms of the output common-mode voltage, it specs 1.29V when VDD is between 2.7V and 3.6V, 2.55V when VDD is between 4.5V and 5.5V.

my question is what is the common-mode voltage when VDD is between 3.6V and 4.5V.

Hi Yangbo,

Please refer to Figure 26 in the AMC1200 datasheet. The actual output common mode between 3.6V and 4.5V will depend on how the VDD2 supply was applied to the device. As the VDD2 rises from 3.6 to ~4.15, the common mode output remains at 1.29V. As VDD2 is lowered from 4.5V, the output common mode remains at 2.7V untill VDD2 reaches ~3.9V.
