TL972-Q1: RF Noise Immunity

Part Number: TL972-Q1

Dear, Sir.

I am introducing TL972-Q1 as the replacement from JRC/NJM8202Z.

The one of advantage of NJM8202Z is the exsisting of Moble products RF Noise

Immunity testing result.

Do you have the similar testing data?

    Thanks for reaching out us, to my knowledge we do not have testing data for RF Noise immunity. I will double check with the rest of my team and get back to you.

    We currently do not have a test setup for RF noise Immunity. I am however working on collecting the data, I will update you by EOB Tuesday.

    I am feeling a mount of gratitude for your valuable information. 

    I would like to double-confirm several, Please give your advice. 

    1. Is it a testing results used samples? 

    2. I wonder the calculation of EMIRR is ; 

       EMIRR = 20log (VRF_PEAR / delta VOS) ? 

    3. EMIRR @ 1000MHz is indicated under 80dB. 

       Does it mean delta VOS getting larger at 1000MHz RF input?

    Hi Hideyuki-san,

    1. This was a bench characterization based on a single control sample at ambient temperature, it doesn't necessarily represent all parts at all temperatures, corner cases could be slightly different.

    2. Your formula is missing a second term, please refer to the attached link, this app note does a great job explaining it in section 2.1 Calculating EMIRR IN+. My bench characterization was based on a 100mVpk RF signal

    3. And Yes at 1000MHz, delta Vos does get larger.
