THS6212: THS6212 design

Hi 

1. Is THS6212 a voltage or current line driver?           

2. If the working frequency is within 30MHz, the minimum differential voltage of the receiving terminal is about 10mV. 

How far can THS6212 transmit signals on twisted pair (or coaxial line)? Whether there is a test data or a theoretical calculation?

3. Can THS6212 EVM be supplied by 24V/0V single power without -Vs (No use 12V/-12V)?

    The THS6212 is a current feedback amplifier. It's output is still voltage but it can source a lot of current. You can learn more details here.

    A twisted pair will not create a transmission line, and will a signal will not be reliable much further than 1/4 of the signal wavelength.  A 50 ohm coaxial line will transmit an infinite distance if it is perfectly matched with a 50 ohm source and a 50 ohm load.

    Voltage is just a measure of potential between two nodes, and the amplifier does not know the difference between +/-12V and 0V to 24V. Just make sure to increase every node in the circuit by +12V.
