LM2904-Q1: Question of sleep current

Part Number: LM2904-Q1
Other Parts Discussed in Thread: LM2904

Hi team

Low Supply-Current Drain Independent of Supply Voltage . . . 0.7 mA Typ

Above is the specification of the consumption current.
I want to know the standby current when 16V is applied to VCC.
Is it in the datasheet?

Thanks,

TM

  • Taemin,

The Icc spec covers 5V and max VCC which is 26V or 32V. 16V Icc would be between those limits. Interpolation can be used to get 16V ICC

    ICC [16V][max]  = ICC[5V][max] + (16V - 5V) / (26V - 5V) * ( ICC[26V][max] - ICC[5V][max] )

    ICC [16V][max]  = 1.2mA + 11V / 21V * ( 2mA - 1.2mA )

    ICC [16V][max]  = 1.62mA

Typical current will be substantially lower. Note that the LM2904 can't be put in sleep mode.

Here is sample data at room temperature.
