Is there a TI solution in DCDC and LDO?

The input voltage is 11.1Vdc, and the DCDC output is negative voltage 12V/ 6A (for OP -vcc).

3 groups of independent output loads are used to avoid noise interference.

We want to use three sets of LDO (output high impedance, so anti noise ability is better).

But there may be current imbalance, which will cause the LDO temperature too high.

How to achieve current balance? Is there a reference design?

Hi Jerry,

Unfortunately we do not have any negative LDOs that are able to handle 2 A; however, we do have several negative voltage regulators that could be used in a current sharing application. You can find our selection of negative voltage regulators using our parametric search:

Please take a look at the following TI designs discussing current sharing. While these designs use positive voltage regulators, the same theory could be applied to the negative voltage regulators:

Hi,

For this 6A output current, i don't think we have the part with integrated switch inside, because the current level that we have is around 3A, Therefore you might need a controller to do 6A at -12V.
I tried to look at our sample design and this might be the closest one with similar power level. Hopefully this is a good starting point for your design
