LMH6629: Amplifier on/off control

Is there possibility or any limitation to use amplifier on/off control /PD with frequency 60 kHz?

I need amplifier output signal disable without propagation (chain) delay in normal operation mode.

Hi Mikko,

should work.

Have you seen figure 43 of datasheet? The turn-off delay is about 100ns.

Hello Kai,

Turn on/off delay is ok because it don't cause delay to amplifier output signal.

Is this amplifier on/off signal /PD designed for permanent use 60 kHz 10 years or just power saving off mode for devises?

Hi Mikko,

You can use it at 60kHz for 10 years, there is no wear and tear as it is a solid state transistor that just turns off the internal current mirror.
