TLV9062: Absolute Maximum Ratings

Guru 29720 points

Hi Team,

I believe the following Supply voltage is (VS = [V+] – [V–]) and have questions.

1)
Is there minimum value of Supply voltage (VS = [V+] – [V–])?
I believe the value is "0" and it is possible to damage the device under [V+] < [V-] condition.
Is my understanding correct?

2)
Is it posible to apply [V+] = 0V, [V-]= -5.9V without damaging device?

Best Regards,
Yaita

  • Hi Yaita,
Your assumptions are correct. You will probably not damage the device as long as you stay within 0V to 6V. But please note that Absolute Max ratings only shows the range under which the device will not be damaged. But the device may not behave like it's supposed to. To get desired results, I would recommend taking a look at section 8.3 ("Recommended Operating Conditions") of the datasheet. To see expected results, Supply Voltage range (Vs = [V+]-[V-]) should be within 1.8V to 5.5V. I hope this helps!

    I appreciate for your reply.
    I fully understand!
